DesertRegatta

Hosted by the Columbia Basin Sailing Club, the Desert Regatta is an annual race held at Charbonneau Park on the Snake River, 17 miles east of Pasco, Wa. The Desert Regatta hosts Thistle, Flying Scot, San Juan 21, Tasar, & Portsmouth classes with other classes welcome as well. Three boats in any class will warrant their own start. Three to four races are held on Saturday and one to three races are held on Sunday, with no starts after 2 p.m. Sunday. All races are sailed under USSA as modified by CBSC race instructions. Race registration made online via US Sailing Regatta Network is $30 on or before April 23, 2011 or $35 after April 23, 2011 online or at the event.

10am - Skippers' meeting
11 am - Start of first race
BBQ dinner served after final race

Sunday
9 am - Start of first race
Award presentation directly following final race

Register early and save $5! Registration fee for entries received before April 23, 2011 will be $30. Fee for entries received after April 23 will be $35.

LocalAccommodations

Tent and RV camping at Charbonneau Campground. The campground does not officially open for the 2011 season until Sunday May 1^st, therefore you will not be able to reserve a campsite for Friday or Saturday night and we cannot guarantee the availability of running water or electricity in the campground. However, camping is permitted in the overflow camping area and the park bathrooms will be open at that time. If you are interested in camping and would like more detailed information, please contact the the CBSC Commodore, Rich Obst.
