SeriesRaces
Columbia Basin Sailing Club holds a series of races each racing season (spring, summer, and autumn) on Lake Sacajawea, at Charbonneau Park. The races are competitive, but fun, events with variable and often shifting winds that accentuate sailing skills. Depending on the winds, as many as five races can be squeezed into a single day. Racing is scheduled to begin around 10 am, but often is slightly delayed to assemble the boats on the water. Each race has a designated race organizer who is responsible for setting and retriving marks, but often whistle starts get things going. Race results for the 2006, 2007, 2009 and 2010 racing seasons for the club's series races are posted in links below.
