SailingLessons
Interested in learning to sail? Here's your chance! The City of Pasco, City of Richland, and the Columbia Basin Sailing Club team up each summer to teach the skills necessary to sail small sailboats (i.e., less than 20 feet in length overall). With ten sailboats available, these classes provide actual hands-on sailing experience for each participant. Beginning classes are taught in calm marina waters along the Columbia River, and as students' experience and skills grow, classes venture out onto the open river. Typically three four-week beginning sessions and one four-week intermediate session are offered each summer. All classes are instructed by Columbia Basin Sailing Club members.
